Completely reprocessed this image. I like it better this way. It'd be better to say I processed it more lighthandedly haha..Still, did a few contrast adjustments and color tweaks on the RAW. Completely from scratch though, I restitched it from the original 4 pieces.

Vast by ~OctoberLife Sometimes you see shots that really don't need any words to describe them, and I think this one is one of those kinda of shots, a wonderful image, that really sets the bar for beauty! ( Suggested by Rom3o and Featured by kkart )

eeeh, I somehow have missed that one, don't know how the first edit was, but this is definitely beautiful. I will sound funny to say congratulations on your DD after all this time but still :w00t:

Haha that was a long time ago though, its okay it's all the same..:P Back when I first took this I was just getting out of this HDR phase I was in for a while when I was pretty much just starting photography, and so the picture was pretty heavily edited and looked tone mapped and all that...My photography has kind of matured? i think, and looking back I didn't really like the way it looked, so I kind of gave it a rebirth with some more modest processing. :D

lol, I guess most people go through that overprocessing phase when they start, but it's what you said, as we mature we like it more natural and subtle! After all when nature has done such a terrific job in painting the sky, what more can you do?

I love the space, the depth, the feel of a cold winter evening.

Nothing like the way the snow reflects that evening light too

For some reason I thought you are tired of uploading your work, but this one right here is enough to earn your welcome back.
Good to see your deviations, love your photography and editing skills.

haha no, I'll never get tired of it. Going to school though, and I had no RAW editing software until yesterday so I wasn't getting anything uploaded. Happy to be at it again
