Found a bunch of old photos on my old computer - old print files, raw's and tiffs of my older work. Much of it isn't the quality I get now, but I wanna post a few just as a kind of look back.

Um, wow. I wish I was there and this was happening right now! I just love this and I hope I can see something this amazing in my lifetime.

:) I really hope you can, too. If you ever need any information, just ask.

Actually oddly enough I live by this astronomy field that's in Pennsylvania that boasts the ability to see the northern lights. Seems odd because it's a bit south. I've been a few times trying to see them but have failed. I think the forecast has to be at extreme [5]. I can't bring up my forecast page right now. Do you use any forecast pages?

I use spaceweather sometimes but I often get tipped off by a friend when there's a big material ejection. It's really unfair lol, we just returned to dark skies recently and it's been a nightly occurrence here. You can view them from that far south and farther, but like you said, you have to have a high class solar storm in progress. I don't think you can view them directly overhead at latitudes that far south.

You should have seen two nights ago, the activity was so intense and rapid directly overhead I was actually afraid for a moment..I thought the sky was going to rip in half. I took some video of it, or at least I thought..but the video disappeared. Will probably post some frames I got later :)
