Solitude and Motion by Thomas-Koidhis Solitude and Motion by Thomas-Koidhis
One that's been sitting on my hard drive for a while. Yet another "long exposure" wildlife frame of mine. Hope you like.

It is definitely an old frame - taken on my old Olympus E-410!

Now available as print! - some weird aspect ratios involved so there are borders on a few of the options available - namely photo and canvas prints

LOVE this photo. What a brilliant shot. I looked at it for a time...I think there is another shot there if you crop it right above the pelicans head.
Wonderful work.

For sure :D Good thing I scaled this thing up to match the res of the giant prints DA lets you make at the 4:3 aspect ratio, I can crop the thing however I want now LOL (like 9000px at 240 on the long side, if I remember) Thanks man.

how can you miss a E-410 when you got a 5DMkII? :P
in terms of size nowadays you're better off with a very compact system camera like the olympus EP-3 ;)

I mostly miss the lens this photograph was shot on...Which was one of Olympus better lenses (50-200 2.8-3.5 I think it was...) and I took some of my old "classic" photos on it which are now (locally at least) some of my most popular and sought after images. So I do have some sentimental attachment to that system...But I have been thinking about getting one of Olympus more compact systems...The MK II is definitely a great powerhouse and I will probably never part with it, but at times a smaller but good quality camera is desired to just carry around =P

the 50-200 SWD is also part of my lens-collection, a little bit on the heavy side but i simply love it ;)
i've only heard good things of the latest olympus pen cameras, have used the first model in this series (E-P1) myself for some days and it's amazing how good these cameras are compared to point&shoot cameras.
i'm looking forward for the MkIII, this might be my entry into FF photography some day ;)

Yeah for sure :) This is a pretty great location as the birds often like to just sit around and watch things while the sun goes down.
