Aurora of medium intensity that was a little different than usual: normally aurora moves very rapidly when it is at its highest intensity. Here, the aurora wasn't extremely intense but moved so rapidly even a relatively short exposure captured only motion blur. Any darker and I would have lost the stars
I love this. It brings me right back to my 6 year old self and the wonder and amazement I felt when I looked into the skies above Dawson City, YT, and saw the Northern Lights for the first time.
Since I've been in Edmonton, I have seen some extent of the Lights, but never to the degree that I did when I was 6. Thank you for sharing this amazing shot. You've made the 6 year old in me very, very happy.
I was creeping your gallery earlier. Loved EVERYTHING, but didn't fave all of it so that I didn't seem like some creeper going through your stuff. Hahaha
I wouldn't consider it creeper lol. I often have people fav like literally my WHOLE gallery. I don't have a problem with it. I love when people enjoy the work. So yeah, don't even think on it

I really envy you... It is one of my big life dreams to see an aurora. I could stare at this picture for ages.
