Even long after the sun disappeared over the horizon, I couldn't bring myself to leave. I wandered closer to the falls, sat and enjoyed the spray of mist for a while. Shortly after, I made this image, which is stitched from 8 original verticals. It was my last of the night. But there is still more to upload, and I will show you at least one more.
Love to hear your thoughts.
It helps to save in sRGB! LOL I'm not completely happy with this still...I feel there's still some work to be done to make it more natural and to give it more fidelity.
going through your photos always makes me miss home, I've been looking for a picture to hang on my wall at my new place for quite some time now. I think hanging one of your images would be best, now just to find the perfect one! I always regretted not wandering around little buffalo more...
You can have any one you like! I noticed you requested a print and I'll have that up for you in case you decide to go for it. Just so you know, buying it from DA will be cheaper and faster than direct from me because I have no workflow to get prints made atm
In all honesty, this is an incredible piece of work. Beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, captivating, breathtaking, and all the other complimentary adjectives I can't be bothered to remember at four thirty in the morning. I really, really love the not-quite-symmetry of the pools; their presence and their shapes give this image a lovely sense of balance, but there's enough difference and textural contrast (between the still water and the water beneath the falls) to create the kind of visual interest that really makes the eye linger. I could get lost in this image.
