A few people mentioned on my deviation -- that the shapes of the aurora looked sort of like a dragon. It reminded me I had a photo that I wanted to post specifically because that was the first thought that came to mind when I captured this - pure chance and luck on my part. Crazy. The image hasn't been altered in content (just a tone curve for contrast on the .raw file, which I will gladly show).

Wow. To me, it looks like a skull-faced, winged serpent flying out of the page towards me...Interesting capture! =D

They do look more like serpents to me than dragons but anyway, it's such a lovely scenery! I'm in love with it already. :heart:

Yeah, especially the first one. I think the second looks like a dragon because of the bright spire becoming the "tooth" and how the vacant space where the face is looks like a nose hole of a skull...so it's more like an undead/skeleton eastern dragon with a strange loopy tale in that way ;)

Aaah, yes, now I can see it too. I didn't think in undead dragon-terms first, had to wrap my mind around that aspect a bit...Hmm, coming to mind-around-wrapping (lol, whatta word :D), I think it also resembles Fuchur/Falkor (the dragon from the Neverending Story (by Michael Ende)). Hah, great...now that my mind is in dragon mode it can't stop seeing dragons everywhere...*clears throat* I see dead dragons! :nuu:
